It really looks much better than in these photos, it looks very scruffy here but the fur is very soft and well shaved. I just need some help getting some photos taken.(I'm seriously ill so every day things can be tough!) This pic just does not show off the suit very well at all!
Is the item old or new (if old, how long have you had it/when was it made?)
About a month old- I've worn it one VERY hot afternoon just for fun in my neighbourhood and one day while I had to be in hospital for some days to pay a short visit some of the younger patients. :)

Visual Aspect (does it match the concept art? Is it consistent with other items the maker has produced? Is it visually pleasing overall?): 4.8
I think it looks wonderful! This is the first time I have been in contact with a fursuit of my own or anyone else so I had no idea what to expect. I had a hard time finding someone willing to work with a mostly black character. One of the other major challenges was I wanted the suit to have a TLK style blended with realism. We started off trying to use taxidermy supplies but in the end PG ended up having to do all the crafting.
You can see that EN has some very specific face markings and that PG did a wonderful job getting them down. The black outline around the nose and eyebrows are a unique touch which I think is just brilliant to make him look his TLK-based self!
Just having the two bottom teeth show with the tongue is perfect for the TLK style smile:
Two minor deviations from on model:
- the 'whites' of 'Less' eyes are actually pale yellow, which is important to his character but very often missed. We had talked about this detail but it was late in the build and there wasn't much PG could do. It's no biggie at all.
- The mane is a little flat to the head. I do plan to have the mane redone at some point to be more Simba-ish, a little fluffier. It's fine though, just not exactly to character.
Service Aspect (Deadlines. Communication. Little extras.): 5
Okay, it took about a year from initial contact to receiving the partial. I had never asked for a deadline and had done some travelling which had me away and been frequently very seriously ill so really the wait was 100% non-issue for me. Around the six month mark they had hoped to have the suit done in a couple weeks but it ended up being much more time, again allow me to reiterate there was no deadline and that I specifically said I did not mind waiting.
With having to do some experimenting to get the style of the suit down some extra time is very understandable.
Shipping was fast and the shipping system with the great instructions for unpacking was really useful- especially for a total fursuit virgin!
Communication very pleasant, artist very easy to work with and willing to talk through a vision and experiment to make that vision happen.
Workmanship Aspect (Is the sewing neat? Are things that should be sewn glued or vise versa? Does it fit? Has anything fallen off yet that shouldn’t have) 5
The sewing is very good, nothing I can see that stands out as poor; also there are no glue blobs, no gaps in stitching. Fur is quality and does not shed excessively(great to not have a billion white hairs on the black part and vice versa). Even the ears, which are mostly hidden, were created with obvious care.
The hand paws were made and padded with a clever design to be spreadable to give mobility to the fingers but also to be shaped and able to fit neatly together like the tidy shape of TLK style lion paws.
The tail is a taxidermy lion blank with a wonderful, very neat job of furring and tufting it.
The head is foam with no covering over the foam but is extremely comfortable and the way PG insets their eyes gives a nice look to head and I have great visibility.(I have some significant vision loss due to illness anyways). I find that with both the mouth open and the eyes I can get a good view of where I am going and what is directly in front of me.
It's a little hot but not nearly as bad as I had been bracing myself for wearing a suit for the first time. It's honestly very comfy!
The paws fit very well as do the feet.
There is a flaw like a divot in one of the latex/cast pawpads where there must have been a small bubble in the mould but these were purchased by PG from someone else, not made by them and so not their fault. Plus, no one is going to notice it!

Very, very pleased and would recommend Pink Gecko Productions highly!
No matter how crappy I feel or how crummy a day I'm having seeing EN smiling at me from my dresser always makes me smile, too.
